Here is one very simple reason why - Submission Companies
do not control Search Engines.
Your site could be listed one day and the next day the Search
Engine clears out it's database or changes it's ranking method
(which happens regularly and without notice). Then your site disappears
and it might take months to reinstate it.
On some Search Engines you can carry out the same search twice
within minutes of each other and gain different results.
Or, if you are using pay per click, when somebody outbids you,
your site moves down the rankings.
Such "guarantees" are worthless sales hype - if you are
offered one, ask how it can be maintained.
